Action Not Words is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization that aims to even the playing field both academically and professionally for young people in underserved communities.

The organization provides educational and experiential programming designed to broaden the minds and perspectives of underserved students, and equip them with the essential tools, resources, and access needed to achieve their aspirations. Action Not Words was founded by Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson, with the intention of inspiring positive social change following their wrongful arrest in a Philadelphia café for being young black men. The organization strives to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to recognize that anything is possible, and illuminates the path toward success.
